Pamper Evening.
Friday 7th June 2013 6-9pm.
We are offering pamper evenings at our warm and friendly centre.
You are welcome to drop in, or book yourself in for one of our relaxing treatments. Book early to ensure your place.
We shall be offering: Facial with Neal's Yard Remedies, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Traditional Thai Massage, Thai Foot Massage,Shaitsu, Swedish Massage, Holistic Massage and Reiki.
Sessions are for 1/2 hour and cost only £15 or £28 for a one hour treatment.

Aromatherapy - an aid to stress management and vitality
Aromatherapy is the use of organic essences of aromatic plants for
healing and the maintenance of vitality.
Aromatic essences can be used safely at home with massage, bathing, inhalation, compress, scalp treatments and room fragrances.
On the one day workshop we will learn how to mix aromatic essences with suitable carrier oils and apply them in practical massage.
The workshops are fun and an enjoyable learning experience.
You just need to bring yourselves, as all oils, towels and couches willbe at the centre.

Organic Facials Workshop

A lively and fun workshop!
Applying Neal's Yard Organic remedies, Chamomile Cleanse or Wild Rose Beauty Balm exfoliation, White Tea facial Mist, Rose toner, Orange facial oil massage and Frankincense Hydrating Cream, finally White Tea Eye Gel and a cup of Eyebright tea = healthy and glowing skin.
These workshops are £25 per person, or if two of you book together £20 each.

Meditation

Indian Head Massage is a complete treatment working on the shoulders, arms, neck, head and face. It is an exceptionally relaxing massage and can help to relieve tired and congested muscles in the shoulders and neck. Indian Head Massage is also good for mental fatigue.
The workshop will enable you to use Indian Head Massage with your friends and family.
The cost per person for the two mornings is £45.
Follow up workshops for Couples who have attended and would like to learn more or refresh their massage skills.

Would you like to learn to massage your partner with sensuous essential oils. The one day workshop is designed to enable you to learn about what oils can really relax and create a sensuous environment when used with simple massage techniques.
By the end of the workshop you will be able to confidently give your partner a full body massage and also have a fun and relaxing day.
Allison completed her training at the School Of Complementary Health in Exeter, Devon.
Allison has been in the Complementary health field since 1992. Opening the Barbican Therapy Centre in September 2007, an exciting and new project (click on 'Our Therapists') for a comprehensive list of treatments available.
Allison is a qualified adult educator as well as an aromatherapist and nutritionist. Allison facilitates various recreational workshops at the centre. Aromatherapy for home use, Indian Head Massage and Couples Massage Workshop.

This is a workshop especially designed for anyone who has an interest or curiosity in Reflexology and would like to know more about its history and how it works. Discover how the feet provide us with a map of the entire body and how to utilise this knowledge to give a deeply relaxing treatment that brings the body back into balance. There’s plenty of time for practical experience, so by the end of the day, you’ll be able to try out what you’ve learnt on your friends, family or partner. There will be handouts just in case you forget anything!

This is a one day course covering anatomy, energetics and biomechanics of the body, presenting new ways to work with each area. Suitable for all bodywork practitioners, martial artists, dancers and sports people.
